Position Overview
As the Director of Provider Support, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of provider operations across our network of practices. This leadership role oversees provider onboarding and offboarding, ensuring seamless scheduling and addressing all provider support needs. By fostering strong relationships with clinical teams, regional managers, and providers, you will directly contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier dental care. Your role will also involve planning and managing significant clinical events and meetings, including new doctor orientations, doctor retreats, and other key initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provider Scheduling Management: Ensure up-to-date and accurate scheduling for all doctors, swiftly addressing changes and managing coverage for time-off requests in collaboration with regional managers.
- Provider Onboarding & Offboarding: Lead the coordination and seamless execution of onboarding new providers and ensuring effective offboarding processes.
- Liaison Between Teams: Act as the primary point of contact between providers, clinical staff, regional managers, and other departments, ensuring consistent communication and addressing any operational needs.
- Clinical Event Coordination: Lead the planning and execution of clinical events such as new doctor orientations, retreats, and clinical team meetings.
- Project Management: Oversee special projects related to clinical operations, such as creating presentations, coordinating calendars, and producing monthly newsletters.
- Administrative Leadership: Support doctors with travel, expense reimbursement, and administrative requests. Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Information Management: Organize and maintain the clinical shared drive, ensuring all relevant materials are updated and accessible.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to company-wide quality improvement initiatives by taking ownership of assigned tasks, and ensuring that deadlines are met, and goals are achieved.
Qualifications
- Education: An associate degree in business administration or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a management or director-level role, or in a comparable role, ideally within the dental or healthcare industry. Experience working directly with doctors or clinical professionals is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Slides, Sheets, Docs). Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to handle complex challenges.
- Personal Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
